- Everybody, here we're starting a great case, Lipo of the abdomen, followed by J Plasma. J Plasma is a great technology that helps tighten skin, perfect for patients with loose abdominal skin either from weight loss or pregnancy. These are two of the most common conditions for which we use it. So we're gonna do that. We're gonna start with liposuction first.- So I'm doing that. Do a little bit of abdominal etching, and then we'll use a J plasma. Alright, so we just finished doing the high-def Lipo on the abdominal area with loose abdominal skin, basically from excessive weight loss. So you can see she has excess abdominal skin laxity, and now we're gonna use a new technology for us here at Avana, J Plasma.
- It's a combination of using helium gas as well as radio frequency, which helps heat up the tissue and cause tissue contraction, which helps tighten up this tissue here to make it nice and flat and tight, to how it was before her massive weight loss. So, we just got done doing the j plasma on this patient's left arm. As you can see, when we compare it from here to here, I'm able to pull much more in my left hand versus my right hand in completing this. So it's much tighter. Great results so far.
- So we're about to do the same thing on the other side. So we just got done using J plasma. It added about 20 minutes to the operative time. We have already hit some great tightening of her skin. So I'm pulling pretty hard here.
- So, from before, it's improved a lot. So I'm very happy with the result. She should be happy as well. It's a great device for skin tightening. It combines radio frequency and helium gas to create the J Plasma, and that's how we get that skin-tightening effect.

Brand Ambassador: Tell me, how's your experience been?
Patient: It has been great. From the first time we came in, we did all our pre-op work. I did all my pre-op work in San Francisco and faxed it to my labs. We came in a day before, and then the next day we were here, we had our pre-op evaluation. And in a few hours, I was on the OR table. A few hours later, I was up and ready to go.
Brand Ambassador: And have your experience and pain level been good?
Patient: It has been good. So that was one of my biggest concerns, pain management, and that was awesome. I didn't have any issues. Another thing I had on my mind was infection, and that was also very well taken care of. Avana staff keeps very close tabs on you every day, just all through, making sure you're doing okay and have everything that you need.
- I haven't had any issues or any complications. I'm so grateful. I'm so thankful to God. I'm so thankful for the full support I have here for my mom and my family. Doctor Moradian is not only fine, but he's also a great surgeon.
