Tummy Tuck Surgery by Dr. Moradian

Tummy Tuck by Dr. Moradian. In the video, you can see Dr. Moradian performing one of his favorites procedures to do, an abdominoplasty. The 1-2 hour surgery restores the abdominal wall and removes the excess of skin.

Doctor: Tummy tuck is one of my favorite procedures to do. It's for patients who basically have excess lower abdominal wall tissue or can't see their belly button. So, what do we do during a tummy tuck? 1st, I do liposuction sides to get a nice hourglass shape, and then I mark the skin to be removed, pull it down, excise it, and do a muscle wall reconstruction to make you feel nice and tight. The internal is what everyone talks about.
- And then, we suture the skin back together. Patients love this procedure. It's quick and easy. We do it in the OR. It takes about an hour to 2 hours.
Doctor: Hey, everyone. Just finishing up a tummy tuck. We excised the excess abdominal skin, did a muscle wall reconstruction, and then we'll recreate a new belly button. I also fixed a pretty large-sized hernia in this patient.
- She came to get it pretty nicely. There's a nice appearance of the abdominal muscle here, as you can see. And the procedure went pretty great. Just closing up right now.
