First and foremost, it's important to know that there is no definitive answer to this. The choice depends on the unique needs and physical conditions of each patient. In this video, Dr. Mameniskiks draws upon his 20 years of experience in surgeries of this type to provide a brief explanation of how to proceed in each case.

Moderator: We're here today with doctor Mameniskis. He's a board certified plastic surgeon with over 2 decades of experience as well as a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Thanks for being here with us today. Doctor: It's great to be here. Thanks. Moderator: Now, doctor, for patients that are interested in both a tummy tuck and a BBL because they wanna have a more sexy silhouette, but they also have very reduced skin in their abdomen, which one do you recommend first? Doctor: The procedures can be done at the same time or separately. If the procedures are being done at the same time, we have a little more regulation on what the patient's size should be. Their BMI should be in the 30-ish range to make it safest for the patient and to give the best result. Otherwise, I would usually recommend it to separate the procedures. - Usually, I would do the liposuction and the BBL first. Right. Allow time for healing and recovery, then finish things with that tummy tuck.
