Yes. You are required to arrive with a responsible adult companion on the day of your procedure.
Your companion must be available to transport you home and assist you during the initial postoperative period.
If a patient does not have an appropriate companion available for immediate post-surgical care, the procedure may be canceled or rescheduled for safety reasons.
Due to facility capacity and internal protocols, patients must wait alone for their procedure. The companion may assist during check-in and must leave until discharge.
At this time, mask use is not mandatory to enter our facilities.
However, patients may choose to wear one if they prefer or if they are experiencing respiratory symptoms. Our team will inform you if any specific guidelines are in effect.

After check-in is completed, they must leave until discharge, as companions are not permitted to remain in waiting areas.
For safety and limited space reasons, large luggage, suitcases, outside food, and pets are not permitted inside our facilities.
Patients are allowed to bring only one small personal item (such as a purse or small bag).
Avana Plastic Surgery is not responsible for personal valuables brought on the day of surgery.
On the day of your surgery, you should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that can easily be worn over your postoperative garment, as you will leave surgery already wearing it.
We recommend loose dresses, oversized robes, or relaxed athletic sets. Avoid tight clothing, jeans, bodysuits, or anything difficult to put on.
Wear flat, comfortable shoes that are easy to slip on, as you may experience soreness or limited mobility after the procedure

The length of your procedure depends on the type of surgery, whether it is a single or combined procedure, and your individual medical factors.
Some procedures may take a few hours, while combined surgeries may require more time.
Your surgeon can provide an approximate estimate based on your specific case. Please note that your total time at the facility will be longer than the actual surgical time, as it includes preoperative preparation and postoperative recovery under medical supervision.
After your procedure is completed, you will be transferred to the recovery area, where you will remain under continuous nursing supervision until you are medically stable.
During this time, your vital signs and level of consciousness will be monitored as the effects of anesthesia wear off.
