Fixed breast asymmetry with implants by Dr McDaniel

Dr. McDaniel presents a complex case involving a 43-year-old woman with asymmetric breasts. The left breast was smaller and tighter due to scar tissue from a prior biopsy, while the right breast was larger and droopier. To address this, Dr. McDaniel performed a lift, inserted saline implants (300 cc in the right and 240 cc in the left for symmetry), and reduced the right breast’s size. The procedure resulted in natural-looking, perky breasts that will settle symmetrically over time for a beautiful outcome.

Doctor McDaniel: Hey guys. This is Doctor McDaniel. I wanna show you this case because it’s a challenging case and it’s unique. This is a 43-year-old woman who had a really asymmetric breast. Her left breast was a lot smaller and tighter, and part of that is because she’d had a breast biopsy done.
- So she had more scar tissue in that breast. The right breast was larger and more droopier, because they hadn’t taken out any of that tissue. So, it had more volume.
- So what we’ve done here is we’ve done a lift. We’ve added small breast implants; we added 300 cc’s on the right and 240 on the left, and they’re saline, which gives us the flexibility to add and improve symmetries. And I’ve also done a reduction on the right. And it’s really brought the implants up great. The breasts look nice, natural, and very perky. Now, they’re going to settle down as the muscle relaxes over time, but it’s going to be much more symmetric, and it’s going to be a beautiful result.
